Madlad Detailing Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy
At Madlad Detailing, we understand that life happens and schedules can change. To ensure smooth operations and fairness for all our customers, we have outlined the following cancellation and rescheduling terms: Late Arrival Policy
Grace Period:
Customers are allowed a 15-minute grace period beyond the scheduled appointment time.
Impact on Services:
If the customer arrives more than 15 minutes late, the appointment may need to be adjusted, and some services might be shortened or omitted to accommodate the remaining time slot.
If the delay exceeds 30 minutes, Madlad reserves the right to cancel the appointment and apply a $50 late arrival fee, as it impacts our ability to serve other clients.
Communication:
Customers are encouraged to inform us of any delays as soon as possible by calling or texting (828) 800-9477
We will do our best to accommodate delays, but this depends on the day’s schedule.
Arrival Time:
Madlad appointment times start at the selected time of appointment and extend 1 hour.
Example; appointment time is 10am, Arrival window will be 10-11am.
Notification:
If a Madlad Detailing technician anticipates arriving late due to unforeseen circumstances, we will notify the customer promptly via phone or text.
Adjustments:
If the delay is minor (under 30 minutes), we will proceed with the full service as planned.
For delays exceeding 30 minutes, the customer will have the option to:
Reschedule the appointment to a later time or date without penalty.
Proceed with the appointment and receive a 5% discount as compensation for the inconvenience.
Commitment to Punctuality:
At Madlad, we strive to respect your time and will make every effort to adhere to our schedule. Delays on our part are rare, but we take full accountability when they occur.
Notice Requirement
Cancellations made at least 48 hours before the scheduled appointment will not incur any fees.
Cancellations made within 48-24 hours of the scheduled appointment may incur a $50 cancellation fee.
Cancellations made within 24-12 hours of the scheduled appointment may incur a 50% cancellation fee up to $200
Cancellations made within 12 hours of the scheduled appointment may incur a 100% cancellation fee up to $200
No-Show Policy
If the customer is not present, and the vehicle and keys are not available at the agreed location and time, the appointment may be considered a no-show.
100% of service amount will be accessed as No Show fee up to $250.
Gift Certificate Appointments
Missed appointments for services booked using a gift certificate will result in the forfeiture of the certificate value below.
Cancellations made at least 48 hours before the scheduled appointment will not incur any fees.
Cancellations made within 48-24 hours of the scheduled appointment may incur a $50 cancellation fee deducted from the certificate value.
Cancellations made within 24-12 hours of the scheduled appointment may incur a 50% cancellation fee deducted from the certificate value.
Cancellations made within 12 hours of the scheduled appointment may incur a 100% cancellation fee up to $200 deducted from the certificate value.
Note: Madlad Detailing retains the right to cancel or reschedule appointments when unforeseen circumstances arise, including but not limited to staffing challenges, traffic disruptions, adverse weather conditions, or equipment malfunctions. This policy also extends to appointments scheduled with gift certificates.
Vehicle Access & Operation: To deliver top-quality detailing services, Madlad Detailing requires access to your vehicle during the scheduled service time. Customers are responsible for ensuring the vehicle is unlocked and that the keys are readily available for use by MadLad Detailing. By booking our services, you grant Madlad Detailing, their employees and contractors permission to operate, move, and reposition your vehicle as needed to complete the detailing process (ceramic coating, paint correction, detailing exterior and interior, and other automotive services booked) effectively.
Service Quality: Madlad Detailing is committed to providing professional, high-quality detailing services tailored to your vehicle's specific needs. While we strive for exceptional results, the final outcome may vary based on the vehicle's condition, age, and maintenance history. We cannot guarantee restoration to a "like-new" condition but will use our expertise, tools, and products to achieve the best possible result.
Pet hair and sand are among the most challenging materials to remove using standard vacuuming techniques. While their complete removal cannot be guaranteed with any of our service packages, we typically achieve significant success in eliminating visible traces of both. We cannot guarantee the complete removal of stains or odors from vehicles, but we are committed to doing our absolute best.
Please note that some upholstery and carpets may be too damaged or worn to achieve the desired results, and certain stains may be permanent. If necessary, we will consult with you to discuss what can realistically be accomplished for your vehicle's interior.
Engine bay and sunroof/moonroof cleaning are available upon request only. Please note that we are not liable for any mechanical or electrical issues that may occur as a result of these areas being exposed to water during the cleaning process. It is the customer's responsibility to ensure that their vehicle is in proper mechanical and electrical working condition prior to the service. As potential issues cannot be identified beforehand, Madlad Detailing will not be held responsible for any problems that may arise following the detailing process.
After the service is completed, a technician will review the vehicle with you for a final inspection. If any concerns arise, they must be reported within 24 hours of the service completion. Concerns submitted after this timeframe or a refusal to participate in the final inspection will not be considered.Your satisfaction is our priority, and we appreciate your trust in Madlad Detailing to care for your vehicle.
At Madlad Detailing, we take every precaution to ensure the highest level of care for your vehicle during our detailing services. However, by engaging our services, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms:
While our team is trained to handle vehicles with utmost professionalism and care, unforeseen accidents may occur.
In the rare event of an accident caused by our technicians during the detailing process, we will promptly inform you and work with you to address the situation.
Our liability for any damages directly caused by us is limited to the cost of the service rendered or the repair cost of the affected area, whichever is lesser.
Madlad Detailing, its employees, or contractors are not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.
Madlad Detailing cannot be held responsible for pre-existing damage, defects, or wear and tear, including but not limited to scratches, dents, chips, rust, fading, or other issues not caused by our service.
Prior to starting the service, our technicians will conduct a pre-service inspection and may document the vehicle's condition, including photographs, to identify any pre-existing issues.
By agreeing to the service, you acknowledge the vehicle's pre-existing conditions noted during the inspection.
You are responsible for disclosing any known issues or conditions that may affect the detailing process (e.g., loose trim, fragile components).
Failure to disclose such conditions may void any claims of liability against Madlad Detailing.
Madlad Detailing's liability is limited to the amount paid for the service.
We cannot guarantee any outcome or restoration to a "like-new" condition, as the outcome depends on the vehicle's age, condition, and maintenance history.
We are not responsible for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from our services.
Your Agreement to Defend and Indemnify:
By using Madlad Detailing's services, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Madlad Detailing, its employees, contractors, agents, and affiliates from any claims, liabilities, damages, or expenses arising from or related to our services. Your engagement signifies your acceptance of these terms.Scope of Indemnification:
You are responsible for indemnifying and protecting us against any and all liabilities, losses, damages, expenses, and costs, including reasonable attorney’s fees, Madlad Detailing, its employees, and or contractors and court costs, resulting from claims or legal actions connected to your use of our services.Third-Party Claims:
This indemnification extends to claims made by third parties related to your use of our services. You are solely responsible for managing any disputes, claims, or issues involving third parties in connection with our services.Cooperation and Defense:
If a claim, demand, or legal action arises, Madlad Detailing will notify you promptly and cooperate with your defense efforts. You agree to take immediate action to defend us, including obtaining legal representation if needed. We reserve the right to participate in the defense of any claim at our own expense.
The total cost of the service, as outlined in your booking confirmation, includes all agreed-upon services. Additional add-ons or extended time will be discussed with you for approval
A minimum surcharge of $200 applies to jobs involving hazardous materials, such as vomit, blood, urine, feces, or other bodily fluid.
We do not guarantee specific outcomes but strive to achieve the best results possible within the limitations of time, vehicle condition, and available resources.
There will be a deposit of $50 for any bookings besides ceramic coatings. This deposit is refundable but is subject to the above cancellation policy.
Ceramic Coating bookings will incur a $200 deposit. This deposit is only 50% refundable. The other 50% will follow the above Cancellation Policy.
Payment is due in full upon completion of the service unless otherwise agreed in writing.
A deposit will be required to secure your booking. Deposits are non-refundable if the appointment is canceled or rescheduled without adequate notice, as outlined in our cancellation policy.
For appointments booked using gift certificates, any additional charges beyond the certificate value must be paid at the time of service.
We accept major credit cards, debit cards, and other approved payment methods. No personal checks are accepted.
Late Payment
Late payment is defined as not being made at the time of service.
If payment is made but does not clear for any reason or is disputed after the day of service it is considered Late and can be subjected to terms and conditions of the late payment section.
Late payment incur the following:
a 10% fee based on the service price rendered or $25 whichever is greater.
A 0.5% daily interest until payment in full is made
Customer will pay any and all fees applicable to collecting the amount owed including but not limited to court fees, collection cost, and additional hourly wages changed at the company rate of $100 an hour
In order to perform our detailing services we require that the customer has water on site within 100 feet of access to our detailing vehicle. If there is no water you will need to contact us by phone or email priority to booking any service.
We will remind anyone that books with us about the above access requirement in email and text after their booking.
If you book and there is no water on site and you have not contacted us by phone or email prior to booking we will treat the booking as a no show and follow the actions called out above.
We will also need space for our detailing vehicle to park and enough space around your vehicle to perform the service. This is typically at least 6-7ft on every side of the vehicle and at least 5 feet above the vehicle. Again if this is not provided we will treat this as a no show and follow the above actions
You must disclose any hazardous substances, health risks in your vehicle before our services start.
The customer is responsible for any health, safety or other risk associated with their vehicle.
You must remove any and or all weapons from the vehicle prior to our service being performed.
If at any time Madlad detailing or its employees or contracts feel unsafe, at risk or finds any item(s) that were not disclosed we reserve the right to the following:
Cancel the service and charge 100% of the service without rendering any more or any amount of the service.
Charge additional hazardous substances fees
Any other action that we see fit at the time of service and the customer will be liable for any and all expenses including court cost, lawyer fees, fines, etcetera.
For your safety please keep a safe distance, at least 10-15 feet away from our work area to avoid any trip or slip hazards. If you need to speak to us while we are working on your vehicle please make sure to get our attention from a distance. We try to pay attention to our surroundings.
We do not dress or coat the plastic running boards on trucks and suvs since it may cause a slip hazard. If you request that we dress these you accept all liability.
Issuance and Redemption:
Madlad Detailing gift cards are issued in the form of a physical card or digital code and can be redeemed exclusively for services offered by Madlad Detailing. Gift cards cannot be redeemed for cash, refunded, or exchanged unless required by law.Non-Refundable and Non-Transferable:
Gift cards are non-refundable and cannot be transferred or resold. Any unauthorized use or resale will result in the gift card being voided.Expiration and Balance:
Gift cards do not expire unless explicitly stated on the card. The cardholder is responsible for any remaining balance on the card, and any unused balance can be applied to future services.Lost or Stolen Cards:
Madlad Detailing is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged gift cards. Treat your gift card like cash, as it will not be replaced under these circumstances.Restrictions:
Gift cards may not be used in conjunction with coupons, promotions, or discounts unless specified. Additional charges may apply for services that exceed the value of the gift card.Fraud and Abuse:
Madlad Detailing reserves the right to void or cancel any gift card obtained through unauthorized channels, fraud, or abuse of the terms and conditions.Acceptance of Terms:
By purchasing or redeeming a gift card, you agree to these terms and conditions. Madlad Detailing reserves the right to amend the terms of the gift card policy at any time without prior notice.
At Madlad Detailing, we may occasionally run referral programs allowing you to earn credits that can be redeemed for our services. By sharing a unique referral link or code (“Referral Link”) provided by Madlad Detailing, you can invite friends to try our services. Please note that credits and coupons cannot be combined. To be eligible for referral credits:
The referred individual must be a first-time customer of Madlad Detailing.
The referred customer must use your unique Referral Link or code to book a service.
You may not earn referral credits by engaging in the following prohibited activities:
Referring yourself by creating multiple or false identities, names, accounts, or email addresses.
Referring someone who is already a Madlad Detailing customer, even if they use a different email address.
Using spam or unsolicited communications to promote your Referral Link, or violating applicable laws or third-party platform policies.
Posting your Referral Link on public forums, coupon websites, or other mass distribution platforms.
Allowing another person to use your Referral Link or account for their benefit.
Referring fake or fictitious individuals, impersonating someone else, or providing false or misleading information to Madlad Detailing.
Using your Referral Link in a manner that portrays Madlad Detailing negatively or is otherwise defamatory.
Violating any other terms or restrictions communicated by Madlad Detailing at our discretion.
Madlad Detailing reserves the right to review and void any credits earned through fraudulent or unauthorized methods. If we determine that a violation of these terms has occurred, we may:
Cancel or revoke earned credits.
Disqualify both the referring and referred customer from participating in current or future promotions.
Pursue civil or criminal action if required under applicable laws.
Madlad Detailing also reserves the right to modify, verify, or adjust referral credits at any time before or after they are redeemed.
Feedback & Governing Body of Law
At Madlad Detailing, we value your feedback as it helps us continually improve our services. You can email [email protected] with any feedback. By booking your service with Madlad Detailing you give us permission to use our images of your vehicle in our marketing any way we see fit. If you object to this you will have to do so in writing before the service. An objection after the service will only stop any future marketing using your vehicle, but will allow Madlad Detailing to use any already printed marketing material until it runs out. We will do our best to minimize any issues with our customer.
Governing Body of Law
This service agreement is governed by North Caroline law. By booking with MadLad Detailing you confirm that you are authorized to agree to these terms on behalf of the vehicle’s owner and are at least 18 years of age or older. You agree to indemnify Madlad Detailing, employees and contractors harmless from any claims or damages arising from the lack of authority to enter into this agreement. Any issues or claims brought upon Madlad Detailing, its employees or contractors must first proceed thru non-binding third party arbitration to resolve any and all disputes at the cost of the customer.
Acknowledgments
By booking our services, you acknowledge that: Madlad Detailing does not guarantee any outcome or result as the cars’ condition, age, and history play a large role in outcomes.
Payment is for the time and effort of a service and not a specific outcome.
MadLad Detailing has a limited liability of only the amount paid for the service rendered.
All sales are final.
